1. Name Block: contains the product name, concentration, and grade.

2. Product Size: contains information regarding package quantity.

3. Health & Safety Block: contains a basic hazard overview and first aid procedures.

4. Storage Code Block: contains suggested storage codes which my also be defined by color-coding.

5. The NFPA Diamond: contains the National Fire Protection Association hazard symbols. Health, flammability, and reactivity hazards are marked on a scale of 0 to 4.

6. DOT Block: contains a basic product description as required by the Department of Transportation

7. Handeing & Storage Block: contains suggested handling and storage procedures for the given material

8.  General Information Block: contains chemical formula, formula weight, and CAS number for given material
