Why are product caps taped with various colors?

The caps on all of our bottles are taped with a soft plastic PVC based tape. This creates and extra barrier to prevent product leakage and maintain product quality. This tape also helps identify some key chemical properties about the product. These colored tapes represent the suggested storage codes for the given product; this allows our customers to easily store our products until there are to be used.

How are lot numbers assigned and what do they mean?

All of our products are assigned a lot number upon entering our facility,  The first 3 digits are assigned to indicate the chronological order in which the raw material is received into our facility. The last 3 digits indicate the month and year that the product was approved for packaging.

Example:

016 10 8

Product 016, approved October 2008

What is your expiration date policy?

Normally our products do not require expiration or retest dates on the label due to their inherent stability. These products can generally be considered stable for at least five (5) years from the date of release in their original, unopened container.

Expiration and retest dates are valid only under the storage and handling conditions noted on the label. Generally, products should be stored and handled under the conditions noted on the label and should not be exposed to temperature or humidity extremes. Once the product container is opened, the shelf-life of the product is dependent on how the product is stored and handled.

If you question the quality of a product that carries no expiration date, a product that exceeds its retest date or one where the container has been previously opened, we recommend testing the product for fitness for use in your particular application against key parameters.
